Welcome to the Sandsfoot Beach trust.

  Throughout history, "robber barons" have stolen land from the sovereign humans of the land and passed it on as their own through future generations. Many rights of access have and are being lost. Sandsfoot beach is one of those places, it has been used since before any formal settlement was here for sustenance and recreation. Currently, it is used by a strong, caring community ranging from sailors, fishermen, SUPrs, family, parties, dog walkers, twitchers, detectorists, cold water swimmers, and more. In the early 80s, there was a land grab that somehow got legitimised despite several court cases. Since then there has been an unlawful change of use of the area and unreasonable restrictions placed against users. A public right of way has also been significantly and deliberately obstructed.
